A firm which specialises in rare and commemorative silver coins and medals has been launched in North Staffordshire.

Specialist coin and medal business Sterling Mint was born out of the success of its sister company Hattons of London, which was launched in June 2017.

Hattons of London – which specialises in rare and exclusive gold coins – employs 45 staff at its offices in King Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and is preparing to relocate to ‘significantly larger’ town centre premises at Copthall House in June after seeing its business continue ‘almost uninterrupted’ despite the coronavirus outbreak.

Now sister business Sterling Mint has been launched to complement Hatton’s offering with a host of new silver coins and medals.
