Description
When Britain changed to decimal currency in 1971 the ten pence was the second highest face value coin. It featured the lion in a passant guardant pose.
First issued in 1968 a whole three years before decimal changeover (it circulated as a florin, the coin it would replace) it was last issued in 2008, and with a size change in 1992. It was only minted in sterling silver on five occasions – here is your chance to own one.
